How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hi everyone. I read a post from last week that had a great question and I thought it warranted repeating for any new people. I posted the information from the DietBet Transformer Rules on the comment. If you haven't already reviewed them I recommend that you do they are located at https://www.dietbet.com/transformer/rules . The question was about what happens if you lose more than your goal for the current round. Which in most cases is fantastic, you are just that much closer to the next rounds goal. But, I have been in Transformers where people were disqualified for losing too much too fast. You would have to lose way more than I am capable of but this is from the rules:
Disqualification. Each round in Transformer has its own disqualification threshold. If you lose more than the maximum allowed weight, you will be disqualified for the remainder of the game. This is to prevent players from going overboard or using bariatric procedures during the game.
•Round 1 - 12%
•Round 2 - 18%
•Round 3 - 24%
•Round 4 - 27%
•Round 5 - 30%
•Round 6 - 30%
Also, you can be disqualified for losing more than 12% in a round. For example, your starting weight is 200 pounds and at the end of Round 1 you were 192 pounds. If you then lost more than 23 pounds in Round 2 (that is, more than 12% of 192 pounds), you would be disqualified.

The people that were disqualified in previous bets for losing too much claimed they didn't know the rules and thought it was unfair. I just want everyone to know they are out there and are worth reading.

Thanks for posting. It should be on a link so people can see it before signing up. This is very helpful. I’ll make sure not to workout to hard.

I wish I could even come close to these numbers. 30% for me would be 50 pounds. 12% would be 20 pounds in a round.
