It's crazy how sneaky I get when I stop tracking all of my food! I went to the city the other day with my MIL and didn't plan on tracking my food until we hit the food court. Then I realized I HAD to, or else I'd have decided on something super unhealthy! For some reason, when I don't track it, it doesn't count! And I can easily go over 2,000 and then some. I did actually go back in and add all the food I ate on one of the days I skipped tracking and was SHOCKED and disappointed by the amount of calories I actually consumed. I think that's been the biggest thing for me this time around. Staying honest and accountable. Some days, you slip up, but after feeling disappointed and regretting those bad days, it's less likely to happen again.

I always used to think, "oh, there's no way I'm overeating!" And wondering why I was gaining weight so quickly. WELL, it's time to be honest. And at that point I was probably eating close to 3,000 cals daily. With zero exercise, except for the occasional walk or bike ride. I feel like I've made changes that will stick with me long term, and I've learned so much about food and my body. This isn't just about being fit, it's also about learning and recognizing bad habits. I've also started to love my body for what it CAN do, and that's huge for me. Not even 4 months ago, I broke into tears while shopping for work clothes and struggling to find some that looked ok on me. I don't want to feel like that ever again.

Aww thanks Stephanie! I'm done making excuses for myself. The fact of the matter is that I've had bad habits my whole life and that's why I'm overweight. I'm the only person who can correct those habits too and choose to live a more health conscious lifestyle.

Nibble a little bit of this and that and you think you arent eating much only to find that gosh this calories are really a lot.thats what i hate..its easy to underestimate the number of calories you eat if u not tracking
