How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • We know that exercise helps us burn more calories each day helping us lose weight. And combining exercise with a healthy diet is even a more effective way to lose weight than depending on calorie restriction alone.
But, exercise is also incredibly good for your mental health, and it can help you manage stress and unwind!

Do you find that you look forward to working out as a way to clear your mind?

It depends on the workout! If it’s something I can zone out and do, I’m up for it. A walk, going kayaking, getting on the elyptical.

Tami C.

No, not to clear my mind. It’s still too physically challenging. But I do look forward to it every day because I know it puts me closer to my goals.
