How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Yay! I know I still cut it close but I'm so proud of myself! This is the only time since my first dietbet that I managed to hit my goal weight BEFORE the game ends! I made it the first bet I ever did then the last 2 or 3 I've been close when it closes and wait til the very last minute in the 48 hour weigh in video to make weight. This is also the first time I haven't just hit the goal on the nose and lost a bit extra! I'm also super happy because 165 was once a panic weight for me but now it's been a goal for me for about 2 years. Not only did I hit that goal finally, but I feel stronger and more athletic than I ever did when 165 was pannickingly high for me. Today is a good day!

That is awesome! Congrats on meeting your goals. 150 used to be my uh-oh weight, and now it's been my goal for close to a decade. So I can imagine how proud you are! Great job!
