  • Good morning everyone!
    Happy Monday we are officially starting day 1 of the next 6 months!! I'm so excited to see how many dedicated people are already here, I hope you are all ready to keep the commitment level high and motivation going! Please make sure you utilize our wall to support and encourage one another, share your story and or your daily struggles. Remember we are all here for the same reason to lose the weight that holds us back and to support each other along the way! Everyone has different starting points and we will all have different end points but that doesn't make any of our goals any less important!

    Lets talk 4th of July, what are everyone's plans? This week I know most of us will celebrate the holiday with friends and family and will maybe be out of our regular routine but if we can at least keep it together the beginning of the week I would call that a win. It's so easy to fall into a relaxed mindset when we have something coming up that we are looking forward to like a holiday, vacation or a birthday.. How many times have you found yourself celebrating your birthday for an entire week if not longer? How many times do you find yourself eating all the left over holiday food once the holiday has come and gone? In the past I never really thought about how unnecessary all the extras were, sure celebrate the holiday or your anniversary but once it's over it's over. I used to have every excuse in the book to keep celebrating long after the party is over. Just something to think about as the holiday weekend approaches!

Hubby will be at his dad’s while I’m home alone with our dogs. One of our doggos has aggressive terminal cancer, so we don’t leave them home alone for more than a couple of hours. Unfortunately, by biggest challenge is when I’m home alone. But as long as I’m logging my food, I stay way more present and make better choices (read that as “I don’t binge on junk”).
