Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • A friend reached out to us yesterday saying she was lonely & wanted to hang out over a glass of wine. Knowing this person, this was unusual. So, of course, my husband & I said yes & scrambled to put together a spread at the last minute. Needless to say, we went overboard & had way too much food & wine. But you now what? After a four hour conversation about food, wine, travel, dance and, yes, weight loss, we closed the evening with happy hugs, smiles on our faces & ZERO guilt about overindulging. We made our friend feel less lonely, we felt happy & all of us had a fantastic time. This is what cheat days are for - good food with good friends! We made up for it today with a long walk with our dog, serious weight training, as well as a healthy breakfast & lunch (well within our calorie goals). Tonight we’ll go dancing, burn off a few more calories & just might share an ice cream that’s being served at midnight. There’s nothing wrong with that! 😀 ???? 🍷 ???????? 🍨
