For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. This was a good group to be in.

I greatly appreciate the information about the widely acclaimed Mediterranean Diet.

The well-timed game challenged me over the tough stretch of holiday eating with family and friends.

DietBet helps me with my fitness goals. I participate in order to be more able to cycle and compete in triathlons. My ideal weight range is within reach, having steadily moved down over 20 pounds on a consistent basis since starting DietBet. I am attempting to move it down another 20 pounds, and that is why I am in the games I am in now.

It is difficult to expend a high amount of calories and drastically restrict calories long-term. I find my weight drifting upward during periods of high activity (active energy expenditures of 1500-2500 kcal/day).

I have learned that I can exercise in a fasted state much more intensively than I ever imagined (last summer I completed two back-to-back century rides fasted). But my body begins to crave / demand nourishment after a 48 hour 15,000 kcal expenditure. But it also adjusts to the new normal and resets its weight range lower.

The diet discipline and exercise discipline works. I am 60 years old. If it can work for me, it can work for others.
