How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

I still need to lose 4 stubborn pounds this round. Any suggestions on what else to do? Drinking lots of water, eating vegetables, and exercising.

Less than 3lbs to go for but unfortunately it’s that time of the month coming soon exactly on weigh in days. Ugh 😑 all thru this game my weigh ins will be the days I go thru hell in the month.

Happened to me last round, barely made the weigh in. I cut out as much sodium as I could, was guzzling water, and eating fiber rich veggies.

  • Fell of the fitness wagon, no time like the present to get back on it. Today's run was a struggle. Sometimes it's not about how far/fast you ran (or how much you lifted), what matters is that you did it.

    Getting towards the end of dahlia season, have to get pics while I can.

BTW if you do the cranberry water and you are not used to tart things, it is nasty until you get used to it. Use lots of ice. I think I was on day 6 before I found it tolerable. That being said, I am now on my 4th bottle of the 100% cranberry juice, I drink it almost daily,

What have you been trying to do yo lose weight? I started out intermittent fasting and I was doing really well and was ahead of schedule and now I’m stuck. After looking long snd hard at my life the last couple of weeks I realized that I’m not truly doing IF now. I am cheating on the eating window, I have gone back to grazing during the day and eating high sodium processed foods. I’m going to get back on the IF mindset and I hope that makes the scale move down. Could you be in the same boat?

@brenda Find your TDEE and then stick to a 500 cal deficit, you’ll lose a pound a week :ok_hand:

Well, it seems I haven't completely blown it this round, despite being ridiculously undisciplined on every level. Two pounds left to go, so I might meet my goal. I have two take-aways from that. 1. What I'm doing overall is working. 2. Even if you go off rails, you can learn from it, and get back on track. I'm working towards healthy aging (I'm 51) because I work in healthcare and see what a lack of mobility can do. I want to head into my 60s in great shape. That's my ultimate long term goal. So I'm in this for the long haul. To everyone who killed it this week, right on! To everyone who just got by, or fell back a little, keep going. You will get there eventually if you just keep going.

Working towards healthy aging is an admirable goal! My father had a stroke at 67. The fact he had a high level of fitness before the stroke was beneficial to the recovery process. One of the things I took away from that experience is that mobility matters.

Please be safe, dropping 7 pounds in 11 days is dangerous, too high of a deficit. Better to have a reasonable deficit and work towards meeting month 3’s goal. It’s not worth it. :pray:

Thank you Marco but I tend to lose weight quickly because I have been active but just not making right choices. And when I make better choices the weight comes off. I dropped 3 lbs already. I’m keeping very active these next two weeks.
