Does anyone have any opinions on keto? Yay, nay? Healthy, not healthy? I understand the concept of putting yourself into ketosis which honestly sounds kind of scary to me being as I have a sister who is diabetic and ketosis is not viewed as a good thing... What have you learned?

I already use pink salt and drink about 120 ounces of water a day. (according to the 'half your body weight in ounces' I should be drinking more) I think I'm going to try and transition to be more keto... Mostly I'm just having a hard time really getting that carb macro to below 5%. I eat tons of raw veggies. I think dinners are where I'm struggling the most making something to appeal to my family.

Keto is just like the other high fat/protein diets in the past. There r lots of ways to lose weight but it does t mean they r healthy. In the long run it’s going to give u high blood pressure, high cholesterol and clogged arteries. The only diet proven to reverse these things and is actually healthy is a plant based diet
