How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

All results shown on DietBet are from actual users. Individual results may vary.

  • I can’t believe that I did it. This was my first ever DietBet. I barely made my goal by 0.4 but I just got my period on Sunday. Girls know how it goes with the bloating during those days. I haven’t weight this low in couple years, and I’m feeling great. Hope to continue loosing more and getting into more DietBets. Thank you everybody for the support ;)

I actually did it! Nothing ever motivates me and this worked! I’m proud of myself and I rarely get to say that to myself.

Consistency is definitely key… In the first two weeks I had lost 6 pounds and was a meer 0.3 pounds from my goal weight for this challenge. The last two weeks of relaxing on my food choices plus a lower back strain last week did not help me to reach my goal. But I am still happy that I am down almost 6 pounds. I will definitely make some better choices this next time around. Congrats to everyone that met their goal! And to everyone who didn’t meet their goal but who still made progress!

Just made it! Definitely making better food choices and a 5k this weekend helped!

I didn't make it. Got stuck at a weight and kept going up and down the one point. Sad day for me. I feel defeated. 😞
