I was wondering if anyone else struggles with this and has any ideas to help. When I go to the gym I feel super fat. Just with all the mirrors and skinny fit people I feel super out of place and overweight and it really hinders my workout cause all I can think about is I'm overweight and all these people are judging me. It makes working out kinda hard and emotionally exhausting. I'm just like not sure what to do cause I know if I dont go to the gym I wont get a good workout in, but also if I do then I feel really bad about myself. I just dont know how to get over this mental block so I can really kick butt this week

Most people are too self centered to be thinking of anyone else. Keep showing up and do your thang. My treadmills face the mirrors, it makes me feel like shit but i just kind of look forward and glaze over or go thru social media on my phone so I stop judging myself

Too bad they can’t judge all of the people who don’t have the balls to show up at the gym. Showing up is the hardest part and you already do that. Shake it off! I tell myself I’m going to work out, it’s not prom. Who cares? My butt is big. Deal with it folks because I’m working on it, right? It’s not a beauty contest it’s a gym. Everyone has their own crap to work on and are not even thinking about anyone else besides themselves . You do you.
