    Not everything works for everyone but you may just find in the comments someone you can relate too that may help you out to hit your goals!!

    What have you done/changed in your diet or exercise that has helped you?

    - Vegan
    - Paleo
    - Keto
    - Intermittent fasting
    - You name it!!!!!

    How did it help? Are you still doing it? What were your learning curves? Why did you decide that was the right thing for you?

    Me:

    I chose veganism. It was the healthiest way I could eat clean and not have to focus on calories while getting 200% more nutrients than my old crappy diet.

    I also am giving intermittent fasting a chance just to see what the hype is about. So far its been an instant way to cut calories as I dont have time to put food in my mouth 24 Hr a day.

    As for the gym- Im limited due to a major accident I had, but I go to the classes (yoga, zumba, body pump, etc) and just make sure that I sweat and work hard enough that I have to take pause part way through the class.

    So what about you? What were you brave enough to change and try and why and how is it going?

I'm vegetarian 90% of the time (guess I'm flexitarian that hard leans veg?)

I have trouble eating meat, so I limit my intake of it, and I feel a lot better doing so. I'm almost 3 months post partum, so I have to eat more than other losing weight to keep up some semblance of breast milk supply, lol. And, I had a cesarean section, so I have some issues with exercises, still so I'm mostly focusing on eating balanced meals and not snacking on too many processed things.

I love weight lifting and body weight exercises, like planks and mountain climbers.

Started my journey again June 1st this year and have lost 55lbs since then! I've had the most success with intermittent and extended fasting and actually love it! I try to fast for at least 20 hrs a day and have done a couple 36-72hr fasts. It took me a long time to build up to that, but feels amazing to know I'm letting my body heal and preventing diabetes, cancer, alzheimers, heart disease and more. Plus I have more energy and just feel lighter. When I do eat, I eat mostly carnivore/keto and love me a good ribeye!
