Hello! I am very excited to start this dietbet! I am coming from a loss from the last game with Franny. I was so excited to start and reach my goal under 200lbs but the last week I fell off. I wasn't even close, the weight was not falling off as it had in the previous months and I felt defeated. I just kept making excuses for myself and ended up not losing anything. I am beyond disappointed but am ready to hit the ground running and crush my goals this time around. Good luck everyone! We got this!

You can do it! I heard two things about plateaus. 1) our fat cells have memory. So if you were at a particular weight for a long period of time then you might get stuck at that weight when your losing for a bit. Just keep going and you will get a “whoosh” 2) the whoosh is this: fat cels expand and shrink to hold more fat. When we lose weight and the toxins release into our bloodstream our fat cells get nervous. They fill up with water to replace the fat that they expect to get. It’s easier then shrinking and expanding. Eventually they get the point that more fat isn’t going to come so they release the water and finally shrink.


I hope that makes sense and motivates you a bit! Just keep following your plan for success and eventually you will see the scale drop. You can do it!
