  • Protein shakes aren’t a necessity, but I drink them daily to help me meet my protein goals. One recipe I have been LOVING lately is this Casein Peanut Butter & Strawberry shake that I drink as my dessert an hour or two before bed. It has the consistency of soft-serve and tastes SO GOOD, so I wanted to share it with you:
    1. 1 scoop Vanilla Casein powder (I use Beachbody Recharge)
    2. 1 cup chopped ice
    3. 1 packet Stevia
    4. 2 TBSP PB2
    5. ½ cup unsweetened vanilla cashew milk (you can use almond too)
    6. ¼ tsp Guar Gum
    7. 3 Strawberries, diced

    Directions: Blend first 6 ingredients together until smooth. Pour into cup and top with diced strawberries.
    Nutrition: 172 Calories, 25.5g Protein, 14.8g Carbs, 2.6g Fat

  • I finished the calendar today. I’m feeling really good back in my skin. Abs are starting to show again and feeling really good mentally/physically. Most of the weeks I did do the lifting/cardio and some days I did lifting/hitt. I’m gonna repeat the calendar again. For sure because this is what I needed. Must needed rest day tomorrow (if I can force myself) or Saturday since I have a 5k hot chocolate race on Sunday

About to head to bed. Concerned about weighing in when i get up cuz my boss took me to eat tonight before work (to congratulate me on a promotion im getting next week, which is why i joined DB to fit into my uniform i have to wear for the ceremony), he took us to a Brazilian steakhouse and they just keep bringing meats. I know i ate a lot of protein but no clue how many calories cuz they cut you off random pieces. Im still full 8 hours later ugh. 🐖
