OMG after the terrible plateau I’ve been on for the last 2 weeks, and through all the encouragement from friends who’ve experienced a plateau before and kept me from
Giving up.

I did it! I made it! Smack on the goal. But I made it.

I was certain I wouldn’t. I had to do my endurance test a week early because I’m going to take care of my mother in law after her surgery which got changed from this week until next! Only 5 weeks in to my fitness challenge and I was pleased with my results, but not thrilled that I wasn’t losing the weight. Not to be surprised and I’m adding muscle but it made me mad I might not finish this Game.

But I did, this morning I was .2 pounds away... 2/10! I was so sad. But basically ran all day at work, and when I got home... I MADE it’mm

Oh my goodness I lost weight this last week from being sick and it’s sad because it’s muscle weight and I have worked so hard to get muscle mass only to loose it due to a pinched nerve and not being able to do anything but walk:( I did make my weigh in but I’m still upset about loosing muscle I worked hard to earn!

I’m so close, after my recovery workout this morning I am point 2 pounds away. 2/10, 1/5 of a pound. I hope during my work today to get it off, especially if I get my normal 15,000 steps in during that 4 hours!

Now time to eat some breakfast and drink that coffee. If it doesn’t happen that’s ok. I’m nearly 99% towards the goal I still call that a win!


I got 17,772 steps in so.... I hope when I weigh in in a couple minutes when I get home, I will have made it. This was really hard for me this time around, it just wouldn’t come off the last 2 weeks it was like I was on a plateau! I did a huge endurance race against myself yesterday knowing I had never lost more than 2 pounds during on in the past... but when I weighed last night I was down more than 2 pounds ( thank you PR). But still off by .2 pounds....now to go home and see if I did it.

If not, I don’t care I’ve lost most of it and I am happy about that!!!

I am 1.3 away. Still dealing with the water wt from the game. But man those chicharrones with salsa were so good !! Need to resist all that salt next time :(

I think this may be my first DietBet that I don’t make the weight. The only thing that will save me is that I have a big long endurance ride tomorrow, that will likely cause me to lose 2 pounds if it is anything like past endurance races. But I am 2.5 pounds away from goal. Ugh. I just struggled so hard this last 3 months with finding balance and making time to really meal plan well.

I will fight on for healthier and stronger and never give up, one set back never means give up!

Yes, I have had set backs and moves forward. We should never give up our goal of health and self care. I am going to be 71 in two months and I am beaming that I am back on track. It's so important as we age to EAT HEALTHY! and stay healthy! Good luck CrazyinIowa!

I weighed in at 176.0 that's making goal! lots more to lose. Love the accountability of diet bet. I will stay on track for my next game. This one I had extra help.. oral surgery and eating was a chore. I cut out sugar with all my protein drinks. It helped. I am going to try to stay sugar free as a goal. Not easy, and will have grey days, but overall a good goal for me.
