2 questions....
1) When do we get the password for weighing in? I like to weigh first thing in the am before I have anything to eat or drink.
2) My shins are sore when I do laps.... do you think this is a shoe issue? Do you have a runner that you recommend / prefer? Ones that are a reasonable price?

I can always tell when it’s time to replace my shoes when my legs hurt while running (unless I’m wearing capris that are too tight on my calves).

Get fitted at a running store. Shoes are specific to an individual and the store associate can help you get a good fit. I switched my regular brand/make to a highly recommended shoe and it caused severe issues that took about a year to work out. My physio and doctor couldn't figure it out since the shoe is highly regarded.
