How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Miraculously, I made it. After missing rounds 2, 4, and 5, and completely blowing off my other DietBet that ended 2 weeks earlier (I only made round 1 on that one), I made it.

The quarantines were tough on my depression, and I couldn’t get my stress eating under control. I finally decided to seek treatment for my depression a little over a month ago, and as a last ditch effort, I tried a keto diet. I’ll transition to carb cycling once I reach my desired weight.

For anybody else looking at the scale and still not satisfied, keep trying til you find something that works for you.

Teeeeeeee

I was also a runner up in round 2 and 5, happy to make goal for final round despite no gym since early March and changes in diet from working at home! Caused a stall in my progress and I had to course correct, but I think it was helpful to get that feedback one month into quarantine instead of noticing 6 months later.
