How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • So I’m adding more carbs. I’ve been eating almost all plant based. Not exercising as much as I did At the gym however pretty consistently. Im feeling great but can not budge this scale. I’m not eating terribly- occasionally wine. Something off but really truthfully not. I am struggling to get enough protein so this morning I read maybe it’s the lack of carbs I’m hardly eating any carbs so let’s see if this helps this is whole grain cereal, a little bit of maple syrup some nuts and fruit hope you guys are all having a good day

Have you tried intermittent fasting? I didn't make my goals in the last 2 rounds...my weight loss had plateaued...intermittent fasting has helped me.

Apologies if it's obvious but have you been tracking your calories? Sometimes we may over or under estimate the calories we're eating. if you are, did you calculate your daily allowance by looking at your bmr and activity level? You might be stalling because you're not eating enough for your body or not hitting your macros. I'm plant based and I highly recommend TVP (textured vegetable protein, also called soy curls, soy chunks ), it's 100% soy flour and is the easiest product to use, just need a soak to rehydrate, can be left to marinade in any sauce and it will pick up the flavour, works with any recipe (especially curry, stews and sauces)!! Tofu and any kind of legumes will also up your protein intake. If you feel you're still not hitting your targets you might want to have a look at protein powders (there's a lot of good, clean ones) that give you a great amount of protein per a small amount of calories. If you're interested in the subject, there's a lot of research that shows that there's no real benefits in hitting protein levels higher than 0.82g * pound. Lastly, was there a reason why you were avoiding carbs? Your body needs them and there's a lot nutritional difference between a loaf of white bread and a serving of baked/boiled potatoes. You'll feel the difference by indroducing starchy vegetable to your diet and whole grains (quinoa, buckweath, rice etc.). For quite a while I was staying off carbs as they were "unhealthy" and made me feel awful but it helped me to learn that they're not all the same, also my body doesn't react well to oats so that was a learning process! Hope this helps a little and you can find what works for you, keep going, you got this!!
