How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

so today with my unofficial weigh in i'm 0.8 lbs away from getting to me to 4% with this challange. YAY!
but... i fly to SoCal today to tuesday to go to a car show at a fairground and Disneyland. alot of walking, and alot of bad food choices/options, and more then likely not drinking enough water in the process.
really hope my mid winter break doesn't make me go backwards but i complete the challenge we started. wish me luck!!

In struggling to finish the competition successfully. The scale has never been my friend. To date I’ve lost 50% of my goal for the monthly competition, BUT I’ve lost 10.5 inches head to toe. That huge! I’m super proud of my work, and I’m not interested in doing some crash diet to win a pot, but surely I’m not the only one?

Don’t give up and trust the process! The weight will start to come off if you remain consistent. If you’re working out, you’ll most likely go up in weight before it going back down. Most people suggest not weighing yourself for 30+ days to prevent frustration.

I’ve done 3 of these monthly challenges, and I usually lose half of the required amount to ‘win’ the bet. That is still a win to me. This month, I got sick and haven’t done my usual level of exercise, so I weigh more than when I started. Eating healthy didn’t help. I’m 58, so the scale moves extra slowly. My point after all of y rambling? We know what works best for us, and we are working hard for positive change. Which makes us all winners.

  • So my journey this month started out rocky...New Years’ parties, travel, my period...but after all that I’m more than halfway there. I tried something new his month—intuitive eating. Only two rules for me: 1. Drink at least 64 oz of water every day (not including what I drink during workouts) and 2. Be mindful for what I eat (avoid eating straight from packages, avoid eating while working or in front of the TV, etc.). I love it because I never feel guilty about what I’m consuming. Counting calories last time was way too stressful! Photo of my bottle that reminds me to drink:

Get ready for the final weigh in! Once the game ends tonight at midnight PST, you have until 11:59PM PST on Jan 30 to submit your final weight. If you're a winner, you'll be asked to submit photos and will get a new weigh-in word when you visit the weigh-in screens.

Submit early to make sure your photos are accepted, and remember - don't eat that cupcake until you get an email that your photos are approved! (If you don't get one, check your spam folder.) You must have an approved weigh-in in order to be declared a winner.

The game will finalize 24-36 hours after all weigh-ins have been submitted. Good luck!
