How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Scaling. It’s a term used in the world of fitness that allows room for anyone to participate. If the specific exercise is a push-up, for example, then maybe you can do ten in a row, but I can only do four. The instructor’s encouragement to me would be to scale back the push-ups according to my fitness level at the time. We’re not all at the same level, but we can all move in the same direction. In other words, she would say, “Do your four push-ups with all the strength you have. Don’t compare yourself with anyone else. Scale the movement for now, keep doing what you can do, and you may be amazed in time you’re doing seven, and even one day, ten.” (taken from odb.org devotion)

  • This was yesterday. I have a friend in Eugene, where it's been over 300, usually 400+ or off the scale of the app at 500+ for over a week, because she is so much closer to fires. You feel this and taste it indoors, with air cleaning filters running. Every breath feels like an act of faith.

    I feel good about not driving head first into pasta therapy. 😂 I'm back to 2 lbs over my Transformer goal, but 199 is still under 200!

  • Had a big win this morning! I ran a virtual mini and ended up with a time of 2:09:01. Compare that to back in May (beginning or Round 2 of this DB) when I ran a virtual mini in 2:45:22.

    Today’s time marks my fastest mini on record! :D

Today i pulled out a pair of pants that have been in my drawer for 2+ years and i have not been able to fit. Today I pulled out those brand new pants and they fit!!! Zipped them up and feeling awesome.
