How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

It’s safe to say that if I didn’t plan on losing weight during this month, I definitely would have gained weight. I’ll be sticking with DietBet through the summer for sure! Great job everyone, 👊 most of my friends are wearing yoga pants 24/7 and in denial that summer is almost upon us 😂

just your daily reminder that weightloss IS NOT LINEAR!! Over the past 2ish months, I’ve been fluctuating the same 8ish pounds, though eating below my maintenance calories... all hope was mostly lost until I stepped on the scale this morning for my final weigh in and I had hit my goal by .5lbs!! Though my weightloss is a crazy zig zag, you’ve gotta trust in the process and that your body is changing!!

Today is the last day to submit your final weigh in. You have until 11:59 pm PST to submit your final weight.

If you reached your 4% goal, props to you! Losing weight during this time is not the easiest thing in the world. And you managed to do it. Congrats!

If you fell short of your goal, I feel you. I'm in this boat, but I'm lower than where I started. And honestly, I'm counting that as a major win. I would love to have reached my goal, but I'm also trying to give myself grace in a time that is truly unprecedented.

If you logged a minimum of 10,000 steps between March 30 - April 26 (every day of this DietBet), please comment on this post.

From those who comment, I will select a winner at random. I will email this person (using the email address associated with his/her DietBet account). ONLY this person will need to provide verification of his/her steps in order to claim the prize. (*Please do not post pictures when you comment.)

This person will have 24 hours to reply with verification. If I don't hear back by then, the prize is forfeited. And a new winner will be chosen.
