How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Congrats to all successful weigh ins! I’m really struggling... at 54 I’m hormonal a hot mess lol and body is just not shaking anything last two weeks! I didn’t make weight... not even close so now I have a bigger challenge for the next weigh in. I do not want to go extreme dieting because I feel that it just bites you in the butt at the end. Just don’t know what to do.. eating cleaner.. exercising 3-4x week.. just not a clue :/

This is right up my alley since I train a lot of females 50 and over. What seems to work with most that run into this problem is the LACK of intensity in their exercising. You can work out 3-4 times a week, but if the intensity isn't high enough, it won't keep your metabolic rate up. When we reduce calories, our body automatically responds by lowering metabolic rate. To keep it up, you need to exercise it just enough to at least keep it from lowering too much. Cardio is great for calorie burning, but adding a strength program keeps muscle from atrophying and lowering metabolic rate too much. I suggest a program like "Starting Strength", however just about any basic strength program will do. Yes, yes to all of this. Looks like this is my group. :) I have not found a successful way to lose weight since maybe 52. Past 2 years the scale has only really consistently gone up. Slow and steady in the wrong direction. My energy has plummeted. I'll take a look at those programs.
