How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Ground Turkey Larb in Lettuce Wraps. Lots on onions, peppers and chiles, spiced-citrusy ground turkey. Housemade pickled onion/carrot/cucumber, fresh avocado. Topped with crushed Cashews and sesame seeds.

Victory dinner! Down 26# since we started. I am under my 6 month goal with no signed of stopping.

My stretching, lifting and running are on point and my eating is only getting better, healthier and tastier!

Can you share your recipe/process for the pickled carrot, cucumber, etc? This meal looks and sounds delicious!!!

As a chef, I don't really use recipes, but these are pretty close
For Larb.
Website: the splendid kitchen
Recipe: Chicken Larb

Note: I normally use Ground Turkey or Prom, but you can use whatever you want (including veggie crumbles)

For Pickled Veg:
Slice, Peel, Shave, Chop your favorite veggies. I use Carrot, Onion, Cucumber, Bell Peppers

Put your veggies in separate jars/non plastic containers. Cover 2/3 with you favorite vinegar (I mostly use Red Wine Vin, Rice Wine Vin, Champagne Vin and Sherry Vin).

Add 1 Tablespoon of Salt (can be fun salt like Ghost Pepper Salt, Herb Salt, smoked Sea Salt) and 1 Tablespoon Sweetner (Sugar, Agave, Maple, Pineapple Juice).

Top over with water, close the container and shake! That's the basics. Now you customize with Herbs, Spices etc. Mix well, throw in the fridge for 24 hours to 2 weeks.

For my peppers I use Champange Vin, honey, Herb Salt and Garlic.

For Onions, I like a 50/50 split of Sherry Vin and Red Wine Vin, agave. Ghost Chile Salt and Black Peppercorns.

Fruit can be a fun twist. I do a 5 Spice Pickled Pear with Rice Vin. Tamarind Paste, Ginger, Clove, THAI chile and some 5 spice powder
