For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

TIP OF THE WEEKEND: Shutting back down?- It's been in the news as of late that many states and counties are shutting back down again due to the spike in COVID. In my area, 24 Hour Fitness will be shutdown again this upcoming Tuesday. But do to the diligence of my gym's owner, they got an alliance together with some smaller owned gyms and hired lawyers to have us deemed "essential". So I'll be fine along with members of my community, but for those unfortunate by this, JUST PRESS ON. I know it can be depressing to have to go back and not have access to equipment, classes etc. but you STILL can be active and exercise to help keep weight off and/or reach or goal. We're down to just the last few days of this game and while I do want to get a big jackpot, I'd forgo more money if I knew people were hitting their goals instead. The main reason I got into the fitness industry wasn't because of the money, but because I knew I could directly impact people's lives by advising and teaching them HOW to do it for themselves. So let's finish strong here and whatever your future holds, the ONE THING you can control is your weight.

Hi Jose, I did not win this challenge (lost some pounds and then gained) but your advice rings true - we CAN control our own weight. How do you stay motivated to log your food and not get bored of eating the same thing?

@ cam p. I eat whatever I feel like. I just make sure to adhere to my total calories consumed in a day. Now sometimes that means eating a lot less of something because I indulged in something else. But it all comes down to calories in and out (CICO) when it comes to weightloss/gain/maintenance. I never have my clients diet. I just teach them how to control calorie intake.
