I’ve been in this game for a week so I did my weekly weigh in. Have y’all done a weekly weigh in? How are you feeling in the game? I lost 1 pound this week. Really I yo-Yo’d and at my lowest I had lost 3 pounds. But for my weigh in I lost 1. I’m feeling ok. I know I need to do better with my nutrition. I joined a RunBet and I got in all 4 of my runs but I’m thinking I need to push more. 15 days left in round one. We can do this!

A pound a week is good progress! I weighed in and lost 2/10 of a pound. It's not much but I'm glad to see it gone.

Exercise is great and really important to overall health, but diet has much more influence on weight loss. It's way easier to not eat a calorie than it is to burn one off. I try to eat 500 calories less than I typically would eat in a day (I cut out my breakfast toast and snacks between meals and I'm basically there), and I don't eat more on the days I exercise if my energy level allows it. I've had more success with this strategy than anything else I've done in the last 2 years trying to consistently lose weight (I already hit my weight goal this month). All bodies are different though!
