Struggling today. I gained .8 of a pound from yesterday. I think I can blame having some rice with dinner. It just doesn’t work for me to have rice or pasta. And it’s okay. I can understand it. I can accept it. I can work with it.

I have to really buckle down the next few days to win! I know I can do it. It’s been done before. This means limiting snacks and the bites & nibbles. And making sure to keep active. Everyday. And I have. And I will.

Any suggestions or tips are always welcome.

I did a bootcamp fitness some time back and the dietsheet we were given advised not to have carbs with dinner. Not even fruit(which I really struggle with). Apparently something to do with the way they metabolise. Long term I would say as long as you’re within your calories dont worry about it because the loss will show on the scale a few days or week later and too much restriction can scupper your dieting.. for the short term and benefit of dietbet then hold off carbs completely next few days if you can and limit salt, up your water intake and you will see results! You got this!

Agree with Jules! I can't do many carbs either. I was losing super slow the first half of the dietbet on a healthy whole foods diet, but once I cut grains and fruit (just to make the bet- I plan to maintain with a more rounded diet that includes them in moderation) my weight loss took off! I've been losing over .5 pound a day for almost a week now. It's amazing the difference a few little carbs make- even the healthy ones!
