Hi everyone! Haven’t posted much but kind of stressed about what to do with my weight loss strategy at this point so could use some advice. Since my husband and I have been and will be working from home indefinitely and my daughters school also decided to do remote learning indefinitely I made the decision to take some vacation and work from Aruba for a month. It was my husband and I 5th wedding anniversary and we have a tradition to go on vacation to celebrate every year and have some alone time so we were only going to Aruba for a week but then I realized we could rent a house in Aruba for a month for the same price stay by ourselves for a week and have my daughter come after the week with family so that’s how that decision came out...anyway so it sounded like a great idea but now after all this had d work losing almost 100 pounds in about a year and a half for the first time i don’t have a plan and I’ve tried to get workouts in here and there and eat a bit healthier but it’s so hard when you’re in another country on what seems like permanent vacation though we are working a bit...anyway any weight loss advice or at least weight maintenance while on a long term stay away from home?

Every year when my family goes to FL for Christmas our routine is all over the place but we start each day with a morning walk on the beach ranging from 30 mins to 2 hrs depending what we have time for. While we like to eat out and snack we also buy fruit and veggie trays to make snacking healthier.

Not sure if you are cooking your meals or going out a lot. However, if you are going out a lot to celebrate, maybe you should consider hiring a culinary student to cook low-calories meals. You will still fell like you are on vacation because you won't have to cook, and it will be a lot cheaper than eating out. If you tell them you have dietary issues requiring a lean diet, they will be sure to stick to meals you can comfortably eat. Similarly, when I go on a cruise, after a few days of indulging, I treat the cruise as my opportunity to have a personal chef cook me low-calorie meals since they will make items to your specification if you ask. On the exercise front, use the new loction to provide a different exercise feel. Go to the beach and take long walks. A new environment ay give you a jolt of energy.
