What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone

6 days to go and I have 10% to lose.
I have been reading a couple of posts about not losing weight even if one is doing everything right. I was on the same boat. Last week, I really had not much change. I weigh twice a day. You may think it’s excessive but for me, it is easy to see the trend this way. Anyhow, I had a very stressful week last week and also had a period. I worked out the same and ate about the same but I didn’t sleep well. I was having a hard time falling asleep almost every night although I was super tired. I had about 5.5 to 6 hours a sleep every day. However, over this weekend, I have been sleeping 8-10 hours. And I see the numbers on the scale moving. Again, nothing changed on my workout or eat front. I think sleep is a key factor for me. So, check out how you are sleeping. It might be the case for you too.

Try to add a high carb day a little higher than what you normally eat And you will see a difference in your weight. It sounds crazy but it makes your body burn more coz your shocking your metabolism. I’ve tried it several times. Actually just yesterday I did it. I was eating the same amount of calories and carbs and doing my cardio per usual but the scale would not budge. I decided last night to have 1 cup of rice for dinner and that did the trick!:ok_hand:

Hi Vita, I usually have a meal per week with very high carb and last week, my weight did not budge at all but this week it did. I am sure it’s different for everyone but for me, I feel it was a lack of quality sleep which was caused by stress.
