How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Is anyone else nervous about meeting their weight goal in time? This is my Theis Diet Bet and I have succeeded the last two bets. But, I’ve still got a little more than 3 1/2 pounds to lose and it has been coming off SO slowly. Working out, drinking water, eating right. Is it just my metabolism and age? I wrestled barely half a pound off last week and a half and worked out every day too!

Yes almost didn't join because of that reason. I lose very slowly. Trying to map out my recipes. I stay on track with water, exercise and tracking. Not sure how to drop faster.

More water and veg. Could try mixing up your routine and even a 16 hour fast followed by an 8hour eating day (for me that's 2 normal meals and a snack). Your metabolism will get a jiggle and reset moment with changes in routine.
