Hi all and Happy October 1st what a great way to start the month with it being the first week of our dietbet the timing seems perfect. Today was day 4 of me getting up and getting my morning workout in which I know I keep talking about but I can not get over how proud I am of myself for. I am feeling super tired in the afternoons but I know eventually my body and internal clock will adjust to the earlier start to my day.

So speaking of adjusting.. how are all my first time players doing? Some of you I'm sure are just starting out on your journey to a healthier lifestyle. What has been hardest for you to adjust to? How extreme have your changes been this week so far? Are you feeling more dedicated than you ever have before? Lets remember that in order for you to change your life and lose the weight the changes that you are making now must become long term changes. Making sure you are making the right choices nutritionally that you can sustain for a life time. I know that it can seem over whelming but to be honest this is not something I really thought about at the start of my weight loss. I learned very quickly that once I lost the weight the real work would start. While you are working your way to that point I just want you to ask yourself if what you are doing something you can continue to do. Now don't get me wrong you will obviously get to a point where you don't have to restrict calories and can learn maintain but even still when you get to that point we want to be making smart decisions. Just a reminder of how proud I am of all of you for making the needed changes in your life. I know its hard but it is worth it.

Make sure you all do the mini workout challenge thats pinned below and I will be picking giveaway winners tomorrow morning! Cooking tonight on @WhatFrannyEats not sure what yet but check in a few hours.

This is my first dietbet, and I joined a couple days late, but I’m pumped! I’ve been doing intermittent fasting, and yesterday I worked out during nap time. I have 4 kids under 5 years old, so it’s been really easy to make the excuse that I don’t have time. But we even went for a walk and kicked around the soccer ball before dinner time.
Just being aware of the little snacking I do subconsciously and trying to switch it with a veggie. I try to ask myself, “will this food benefit me?”

Good morning! Just started to take this lifestyle change more seriously. I am super motivated this time around and idk what it was that snapped in me but I am dedicated and ready! I’m so pumped up about what o can continue to look forward to.
The hardest part for me is WEEKENDS! Honestly, being around temptation is hard and I do at this point in my journey, need to restrict myself from all the foods that I indulge so much in. This will be a hard thing for me to do but I got it! I’m mentally preparing for it now and already have a few ideas in mind how I can stay on track with my goals while not being that Debby downer who’s “on a diet” lol .

Also yesterday I completed my 10k steps last night and I was soo close! So today I’ll learn from my mistakes and go harder today!

Happy Friday y’all!
