    Consistency is everything. Which is why I say all the time that if you “go off track” or eat a meal not on plan.... you just get right back to normal and YOU WILL BE FINE. ONE BURGER will not make you gain fat. Just like ONE SALAD will not make you lose fat. CONSISTENCY. Your weight is not always an accurate representation of your hard work. The scale can and WILL go up and down for so many reasons. Once you KNOW THIS and don’t let it affect your mindset, you will feel so much more free!

I used to be so strict about my macros... mostly protein and hardly any carbs or fat. I mean I was measuring how much avocado I was eating!!! And felt guilty if I ate more than what “my macros” “allowed.” I was hungry all the time and now there are some foods I just can’t eat anymore because I forced myself to eat them and totally got burnt out. This time I am focusing on calorie cap instead of macros and it’s going so much better for me and so far I’m still losing weight. I’m just one of those people that needs more carbs in their diet to be satisfied. I am also trying to limit meats, so if my protein is lower, I’m telling myself it’s okay!

THANK YOU for posting this! Ironically this is exactly what my scale has been looking like- numbers and all! It’s reassuring to see this and know that I’m not failing. It’s hard to see numbers on a scale not do what you want them to do
