  • Last night my sister told me that my dad got in a car accident. I live in KY but from San Diego. She made it seem like no big deal but did say she hasn’t talked to him. If you saw the picture she sent me you would understand why I’m a little freaked out. I was supposed to go to work today but our census at the hospital is so low they didn’t need me. I was up getting ready when they called me and I knew my head wasn’t in the right spot to be taking care of other peoples family members when I was so worried about my own. I didn’t get any sleep at all last night. I was about to hop back in bed when I thought well you probably aren’t going to fall back asleep. The baby is asleep, husband is asleep. Take this opportunity to get up and reach my gym goal for the day. I gotta say everything else was lining up perfectly! Finally seeing a small change on the scale, pre-Workout and music was all hitting right. I’m so glad I got that done today!! Point is....don’t spend all your time worrying about all the things that aren’t in your control and take control of what you can!!! (ie your health)!!! I hope y’all all have a fabulous day!!

Sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he heals quickly. I lost a brother to a car accident about 22 years ago. Such a scary thing to go through. Prayers to you all!
