What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone

  • Another reminder about going above and beyond in your workouts these last couple of days. Seems intuitive that working out with more intensity or more time would burn more calories and therefor result in weight loss. I’ve seen a few posts since yesterday of people doing this and feeling freaked out that they gained weight. New training stimulus past what your body is accustomed will result in inflammation and when we are inflamed, our muscle pulls in water for recovery. A normal process but that water means an increase in weight. I’ve gained as much as 6 lbs when I have started a new workout routine or increased difficulty. So consistency in workouts is key in these last few days, not increasing. If you want to increase movement do something that likely won’t make you sore like a leisure bike ride or walk. Rest, sleep and stretching will be your friend this weekend. And as always WATER!

Thank you for this reminder again! It has helped me a lot. My weight loss was stalled. Staying consistent with workouts this week, really tracking my food choices, and the scale is moving again. :smiley:Yay! Thanks for being a great coach!!! I am looking forward to starting #mbfa next Monday!
