How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I switched from keto to weight watchers the beginning of this week. I expected to gain some weight having carbs again, which I did but only half a pound. The scale has stayed on this same number the whole week though. I exercise 4-5 times a week, eat pretty well, and drink plenty of water so I'm getting discouraged even though it's probably not been long enough to see a change. I'm thinking I have too many ww points and have seen conflicting info on whether I should eat all my points or not. Anyone else use weight watchers and have any advice?

I love WW. Eat all your points but don’t go over.

I am doing WW and love it! I follow the blue plan. I started on purple but switched to blue because I am someone who needs accountability when it comes to potatoes. I joined 8/21 and so far I have lost 19 pounds. I am never hungry and I feel like I finally am doing something that works with my lifestyle. I have done “diets” in the past where I have lost more weight in a shorter period of time, but it all came back because I would feel deprived and end up bingeing and gaining it all back. What I have found is that I need to eat lots of healthy fats so that I feel satiated and not tempted by unhealthy foods, and I’m not at risk to overeat or snack heavily between meals. It really is wonderful (for me).
