Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • This had definitely given me the jump start I needed back into a program. I’ve been chugging my water, closing all my activity circles, and sleeping more. I have lost the quarantine weight, but have 5-7 more pounds to go before I’m at my goal. Feeling stronger and more motivated going into the winter months. Good luck to everyone on your own journey— hope you keep up the healthy habits!

This was an interesting group and I thank you for your stories, posts and support. I did not make it! It is okay because I maintained my weight loss from earlier bets, continued my workout goals and I feel better then I have in years. The weight will come off with time. For those of you whom did make your goals congratulations and enjoy your earnings. For the ones similar to me you are still a winner because you showed up to become a healthier you and that is the one of best things we can do for ourselves! I will be back but next time I am taking home the prize!!!!

That’s a great attitude, TL! Not sure if you’re a reader or podcast listener, but if you are— Dr. Jason Fung wrote a book called The Obesity Code with talks a lot about calories and they myths we’ve all been told about them. It’s a great read. He was also featured recently on Lewis Howe’s School of Greatness podcast. He also wrote the Cancer Code. Definitely worth a listen or a read. Fascinating information that I think everyone trying to better their life would find valuable. It breaks down a lot of studies on how calories really are meaningless when it comes to weight loss. The whole calorie in and calorie out hasn’t worked for decades. You’ll have to take a listen.
