How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Been a while since I've done a dietbet. I gained 4.5 lbs over the last 6 months. It isn't much but it's been so hard to lose. I've maintained an 80 lb loss for 10 years and normally I could kick a 4 or 5 lbs gain pretty easily.

Unfortunately, my physical condition has deteriorated due to an illness and my mobility is currently very limited. This is hard to come to terms with. I'm 37 and up until a year ago, I led a very active life. I had a high paced physical job that I commuted to on foot, practiced yoga 4 or 5 times a week, in addition to other seasonal outdoor activities.

I've been on disability, and quite isolated, since mid 2019. The pandemic, naturally, only deepened my isolation and at this point I only see my mom and my husband regularly. I have reached a point where I have very little determination. I'm burnt out on rehab. I'm lonely, dealing with depression and anxiety, coming to terms with my illness and physical limitations. I need this to focus on and I really need a WIN! Ok, this is an essay at this point.

My plan is to track calories and walk, even if I have to walk slowly, i'll walk every day.
