How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Does anyone else feel like 4% is a lot to lose in one month? I’ve consistently lost 10-11 lbs the last few months but am always 1-2lbs shy of my diet bet goal. Just a little frustrating. Can take away from the pride I should be feeling from losing 10lbs.. just a little rant for your Thanksgiving 😂 anyway... congrats on all of you who did reach your goal! I hope you all let yourselves indulge a little today.

4% was nothing for me when I was 190 pounds. I could even lose 10% (water weight added) if necessary. That was back in May. But now that I am only 10 pounds shy of my goal to “normal weight” (passed the obese and over weight categories) ... 4% is sounding like a lot. It is hard to even lose one pound on some weeks even if I keep to very strict 1200 calories, low carb, exercise (cardio and lifting) for 2-3 hours straight a day.

Once your body reaches a plateau where it is reluctant to lose more weight (because our body has been taught from ancient times to be aware of famine and store energy) ... it becomes hard. There are ways to trick your body into believing it’s on a hunger strike and then get back into business. I am hoping my overeating plan over thanksgiving week will help to put me back on track for another 4% in December. Let’s see. I did this back in august-sept when I went on a plateau around 160lbs. And then I lost again.

Good luck with your games!! Key is not to give up.

Thank you all! I still have A LOT to lose so I guess I need to figure out what will help my body get out of plateaus. Gonna change up my diet a little, less calories probably. Might look into the transformer though! Sounds promising
