How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • After this game, My 7th DietBet game, (I did not reach my goal in one game due to a weight loss plateau😱.) If I reach my goal this game, I will have finally reached my goal weight of 135. I was starting to doubt myself; knowing I couldn’t make my weight loss goal. I was stuck at 140-142 for a very long time, maybe the rest of my life. I was starting to think I wasn’t meant to lose more. God meant me to be 140-142 the rest of my days.😢Than, all of a sudden for no reason, I started losing a half a pound A DAY on the same diet and work out plan. 😂The weight is falling off again. I’m doing the same thing I was doing before. Losing weight can be so frustrating!
Moral to the story, losing weight doesn’t always make sense. Don’t give up! Stick with your diet and workout routine and eventually the plateau will end. Many of us, from what I read in post made from other DietBet players, have had similar dieting experiences, I wasn’t alone after all.❤

Yep, I lost about 22 pounds doing a Transformer, then I was stuck between 160-162 for the longest time. Just could not seem to move into the 150's! Then I started losing again and have crept a little lower, and a little more. Not losing quickly but at least I seem to have broken through that 160 barrier!
I'm not a licensed coach or anything but I do have a theory. I think that since I just kept going with my healthy diet and regular exercise program, even though the scale didn't really budge, I was getting stronger and my metabolism was changing. Since I was getting stronger and more fit I could exercise harder than I was before even though I was essentially doing all the same things.
So - maybe the weight is slowly starting to come off again because I really am able to work harder??? And my body is getting more lean and therefore more efficient at burning calories???

I like your theory. Isn’t it strange how our body can just sit stubbornly at a certain weight for so long? Now I understand why people quit and just give up. If they only knew that things will get better in two weeks on average, if they just don’t give up! Thanks for your feedback it helps me to understand.
