How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Anyone else calorie counting? What other ways are you staying healthy within your calorie limits? What is your plan for life long weight maintenance once you reach your goal?

I tried calorie counting a long time ago and it gave me the tools I need to make good calorie estimates. I don't actually count them anymore, but I use the knowledge I gained from when I did all the time now.

Still not sure how I can keep the weight off this time. I've lost this same weight a million times over and always say that I won't let it get out of control again, but I do anyway. Yesterday, I was looking into maintainer bets. I might just end up doing those for the rest of my life :-P

My calorie goal is somewhere around 1500-1600 a day. Right now I’m just counting and trying to use up food I have. I do struggle to make sure it’s nutrient rich, although it’s probably a little better than what my diet has been like at times. I want to learn to be intuitive about choosing and pairing nutritious foods that will go together. Fat, protein, carbs in each meal for optimal satisfaction.
