How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Is anyone else struggling with balancing a ridiculously busy, high stress lifestyle while also trying to diet? I’m a full-time college student, a disaster responder, and I have two kids. Not only do I often have little time to plan, shop for, prepare, and clean up after healthy meals, but I’m always exhausted (or still doing homework) by dinner time, and one of my biggest stress relievers has always been food. I’ve lost large amounts of weight before, and won DietBets, but never while also going to school. I feel like I’ve set myself up for failure. Ahhhh!!!

Perfect time to implement Intermittent Fasting! Consciously making an effort to minimize your eating window can be useful in high stress situations because eating becomes one less stressor.

Oh my goodness, everyone! So many fantastic comments with so much encouragement and so many great tips! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!! My kiddos are 12 and 16 and can definitely help. They had taken to preparing one meal a week, but I think I’ll get them involved in doing some simple meal prep for the week as well. I meet with a therapist online once a week (because I think everyone should have a therapist—it’s like having someone listen to you talk about yourself for an hour without ever judging you) who can help me with some CBT to overcome the stress eating. IMF is a great idea that I have done before and will try again. Walmart grocery pickup is my best friend, so I’ll go back to leaning on the service a little more. I’ll also check out some of the recipe websites recommended. Just so many great ideas and the encouragement makes me feel so much better!!:heart:
