For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • I’m super excited to share that I finally broke through a weight loss plateau! I hit 30 lbs down at 147 (5’9) in March 2020 after starting to lose in July 2018. Since then I’ve bounced around from the high 140s to the mid 150s. I broke the plateau by going veg Jan 1 (goal is to be mostly vegan but cheese is hard to cut) and recommitting to running (almost 20 miles this week!) Diet Bet has been hugely motivational for me, thank you all! Even though I lost the last round I was in, it’s helped me stay the course. It’s a marathon, not a sprint folks!

Vegan since Jan 1 here. My blood pressure went from 150s over 90s to 111/78 and down 8 pounds. Very excited to continue on the vegan path, even though I have to give up cheese.
