How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Last week I decided to change it up as I was struggling. Struggling to stay on track. Struggling to not overeat. Struggling with the way I’d been eating. I am a big believer in finding what works for you, and that there isn’t a perfect answer (if there was a perfect answer we’d all be skinny!)

I was looking at low carb, but then I ended up jumping on a diet coach app that I wanted to try as it had a 2 week free trial. I’ve seen their before and afters, know people that use it and it’s always had glowing reviews. It’s all macro based and I’ve never gotten on well with tracking macros before. I’ve done it but I usually hate it, I’ve used MFP and always found it clunky and annoying to modify meals. I usually manage 2 day’s with MFP before giving up. I figured though I’d try this one, for free for the 2 weeks. 1 week in.... and I’m down 5lbs, and it’s been surprisingly easy.....

So just remember: there is no problem in trying new things, mixing it up. If what you’re doing has stopped working for a fair while then try something different. Getting stuck in the mud means you sometimes need to readjust your position to get out.

I’ve been in a similar boat, I recently switched things up and started to focus on eating a more Mediterranean diet. It’s not exclusive or anything but it’s been easier getting more vegetables in and still getting some food I really like.

Thanks all. It’s the RP diet app - it’s aimed at bodybuilders/crossfitters /weightlifters - which I’ve been getting back into CrossFit so it should work if I follow it
