For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

5.5 pounds to lose in 2 weeks. I don't know why I can't seem to stay on track. Most days I drink a ton of water, and I start out eating healthy, but by late afternoon early evening I start to slip up. For example, I did so good yesterday with drinking water and eating healthy all day and then I gave in and had Cold Stone ice cream with my family last night instead of having a healthier dessert option. And I know one night of ice cream isn't going to completely sabotage everything, but I keep grabbing little pieces of my kids Easter candy here and there, or I'll do bad one day and say I'm going to start better the next day but then three or four days later I'm still doing bad. I just need to get my mind right and just really focus on these last few rounds so that I can finally win something. I lost round two and round three, I really don't want to lose anymore. Of course other than losing weight, lol.

Suggestions: Hide the candy (or other things that tempt you) out of sight. Make a plan for when you want to indulge (e.g. drink sparkling water, take your kids out for a walk or to the park, fit in a quick 15 min workout, brush your teeth). Figure out why you lose control late aft/early eve. Are you restricting too much earlier in the day? Are you having to make too many decisions earlier in the day and your "decision muscle" is exhausted and looking for the easy option? Set up systems to rely on, not willpower. Willpower can only take you so far and it wanes. If you set up systems, the healthy choice is the best (sometimes only) choice. Consider what changes could be done as a family and not just you alone. Let us know what tricks you find work best for you!

Being mindful of what you are doing to yourself is a key in stopping it, and you've got that part figured out. I do remember the days of trying to lose weight while raising a family and I know it's not easy. But I know you can rise up to meet the challenge. When you are tired of the ups and downs and become ready to make a full time commitment, it will happen for you!
