How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

There was a discussion about feeling guilty about "off" days in one of my Facebook groups (specifically, not having time to exercise, but works for an "off" eating day, too).

I've been on and off the weight loss wagon for years (back on it now).
I've found that when I quit and give up, the number one reason why is beating myself up about not being perfect, feeling like I'm failing a test or something. I start to feel like - if I'm never gonna be perfect, then why bother trying anything at all? Of course, that just leads to gaining the weight back, starting the cycle all over again, etc.

So, I do really try to be kind to myself about "off" days, tell myself I'll get back to it when I can. It just makes things 10x harder when I'm not.
