Has anyone ever experienced shin splints before? I've been doing a lot of intense workouts and think I might have them. Any suggestions how to push through without hurting myself?

Compression socks/sleeves can help. Also ice and ibuprofen. You probably need to take a break from whatever was causing them for a bit and do something different.

If you are getting them from running, it might be your form. Heel strikers have a greater chance if getting them. You can train yourself out if being a heel striker by shortening your stride, landing with your foot below you and not out in front, and increasing your stride tempo (a running metronome can help). All of these will reduce the chance of injury, shin splints or many other injuries. There are lots of YouTube videos that can provide guidance. I like The Run Experience crew.
