  • I love the nutrition challenge because it focuses on what we put into our bodies. Second to mindset, I think diet is the part of our weight loss plan that makes the biggest difference. There are a lot of popular diets out there and a lot of eating strategies.

    What works for you? What has come the closest to being your favorite eating strategy for weight loss plan? For me, my greatest success has come from tracking my calories and upping my intake of fruit and vegetables. So what is your current food plan?

I am a binge eater. So I have to measure and/or weigh my food. I also track it in myfitnesspal. I try to avoid a lot of sugar. I don't worry about sugars in small amounts, in condiments and such. I substitute with Stevia and don't over do it on carbs that aren't good for me. I have lots of fruits and vegetables.

I plan my meals out for the week, at least my lunches. I keep a healthy snack on hand for when hunger strikes. I try to drink at least 96 oz. of water a day to keep me feeling fuller. I pack my gym back to work and change there when I clock out. Then go straight to the gym. If I don’t go to gym before I get home, I won’t come back out in the cold lol. So that’s what works for me:)
