Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

I NEED ADVICE. I have been overweight since I was 8 years old. Now I am super morbidly obese. Every time I do a weight loss program I usually lose around 10-30 pounds and then I go back to my normal way of eating. I always end up self sabotaging myself. I don’t remember a life without weight problems. How do you all get over the urge to sabotage your progress?

I know a lot of people on here do keto, intermittent fasting or calorie counting. I follow a WFPB diet (whole food plant based) and follow a 50/50 plate rule. I feel great! I have done keto & fasting and lost 30 pounds but then gave into a craving and gained it all back and then some. I started this DietBet at 332lbs and I’ve lost nearly 10 pounds so far (2/3rd of the way to my goal) and have found healthy solutions to my cravings and my anxiety is getting better. Thank you all for your encouragement, honesty, and well wishes. I’ve made screenshots of your replies so that I can remember your words and know that I’m not alone. That we are all fighting for our lives through diet and exercise. I only lost about 1/2 the weight I needed so I’m not winning the bet this time. But NEXT TIME, watch out cause I’m coming for it!
