How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • *I am posting this here to keep myself accountable! ☺* I won my first diet bet last October, and was starting to feel so much healthier! I fell off the wagon in November with holidays and stress, and then I decided to start fresh in December. In early December I unexpectedly had a seizure and found out right after that I needed brain surgery. I was in the hospital until Christmas Eve, and my time in the ICU made me realize how badly I want to take care of my health. I am tired of starting over, and even though my seizure/surgery was not directly tied to my weight, it made me realize how important it is to control what I can. I am hoping to post again at that end of this challenge on Feb. 28, 7.1 pounds lighter and hopefully with more of my hair grown back! 😂 🙏

I’m sure the surgery and hospital time put a new perspective on life. I’m sorry that you had to go through it. Glad you are in the other side and with a new focus. You got this!
FYI - my niece (11) shaved the side of her head last winter and by the summer she had enough grow back for a VERY cute pixie cut that looked amazing. Take care!
