How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Does anyone else have huge discrepancies in weight even within an hour or so? I weighed myself right when I woke up, then an hour later (same clothes, no food or drink) and I weighed 1.3 lbs less! I know the scale isn’t everything, I just thought that much of a discrepancy is pretty crazy.

Thanks for all of your comments. I had no idea that bathroom scales had memory in them. My daughter who is 3.5 likes to get on the scale, she thinks it’s fun....so that may cause some of the differences. I will just go with the lower weight

I've read that it can have to do with water weight and it takes a little bit to adjust after waking up
