How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

The first time I did a diet bet I worked really hard but came up short. Not winning got me really depressed and I gained back what I had lost.

I have learned since then that it’s really hard to lose weight and it’s really easy to put it back on. That said a loss is a victory whether the round was win or not.

I weighed in today and was 1 pound off from my goal. I am choosing to celebrate the 3 pounds I lost instead of focusing on not winning the round.

Stay positive everyone!

That is a great way to look at it. You’ve still made strides and you’ll get there
